Life is a marathon, we all deserve a Second Wind. We brought this wine back from a bit of an absence because, like Luke says, 'nobody will make a movie or write a book about Pinot Gris'., but it makes a great food-pairing wine that is perfect after a workday.
Rosewood embraces the magic and adventure of each vintage and guides it honestly into wine. Just like Alice in Wonderland - making honest wines is a wild ride!
With a name like Black Market, it should come as no surprise that there are a few things going on that we just can’t talk about. We set out to create a white blend that was exotically aromatic, crisp on the palate and balanced by citrus and tropical fruitiness…and that’s exactly what Secret Society delivers. But you know how the old saying goes: “If we told you what was in it, we’d have to…” You get the idea. Figure out what’s in this blend and you’re in our Secret Society!

Possibly LW's most highly anticipated release of the year! After not making this wine since 2017, the 2020 growing season gave them the best conditions yet to ripen this grape as a red wine. Kékfrankos, a dark-skinned grape variety from Hungary (AKA Blaufränkisch in Austria and Lemberger in Germany), is relatively obscure in Canada and grown by only a handful of producers. As part of their ongoing quest to uncover cold-hardy red varieties suitable for our cool climate, they planted a small block of this variety in their Avonport vineyard in 2013.
This wine captured the essence of the remarkable 2020 vintage. The Pinot Noir that resulted from this growing season is deeply coloured, richly textured and bold in its delivery of fruit on the nose and flavours on the palate. Tannins are well rounded and balanced with beautiful natural acidity making this a truly age-worthy wine.
