Solvero Pinot Gris 2025
Pricing
¥5,500 (incl. tax)
Product description
Sourced from Kozuki Family Vineyards and Happy Valley Vineyard in the Okanagan Valley. Five hand-picked lots were collected at the end of September and fermented separately. Gentle whole-bunch pressing produced a small volume of clear, concentrated juice.
Winemaking: A combination of native and selected yeasts fermented the wine to dryness at 12–16°C over 2–3 weeks. Fermentation vessels were 50% neutral French oak and 50% stainless steel; the wine matured for three months in these two types of vessel before bottling. Alcohol: 13.5%.
Award: Gold, 2026 WineAlign National Wine Awards of Canada.

- Producer Description
Solvero began with a family conversation over cool-climate Pinot Noir in 2012 and a search for a distinctive Okanagan vineyard site. The family found a 25-acre property in Garnet Valley, Summerland, planting seven Pinot Noir clones in five blocks in 2016, Chardonnay in 2017 and Gamay in 2023. Steep slopes and varied glacial soils shape the estate. Farming follows la lutte raisonnée, with careful intervention and biodiversity supported by woodland, fruit trees, vegetables, chickens and ducks. Solvero means “truth in soil”.
